Announcing the 2025 NPR College Podcast Challenge Honorable Mentions

The NPR College Podcast Challenge, now in its fifth year, received around 200 entries from students across 31 states and the District of Columbia. NPR has announced 10 finalists and recognized 35 additional podcasts for their compelling stories. These podcasts cover a wide range of topics, from community safety debates in Oakland to personal stories of finding peace through fly fishing, and the challenges faced by amateur boxers. The entries reflect diverse perspectives and creative storytelling from students at various universities, highlighting important social issues and personal experiences. This challenge not only showcases young talent but also encourages students to engage with storytelling as a powerful tool for change and connection.
