Wild back Gustavsson with a 2nd-period burst in a 4-2 victory over the Golden Knights

Filip Gustavsson made 30 saves, leading the Minnesota Wild to a 4-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights. The Wild scored three quick goals in the second period, with Mats Zuccarello, Zach Bogosian, and Michael McCarron finding the net. Vladimir Tarasenko added another goal in the third period. This win places Minnesota third in the Central Division, while Vegas is second in the Pacific Division. Newcomers Robby Fabbri, Bobby Brink, and Michael McCarron made their Wild debuts, with McCarron assisting on Tarasenko’s goal. Vegas saw goals from Pavel Dorofeyev and Mitch Marner, and Akira Schmid made 20 saves. The Golden Knights are dealing with injuries, including Mark Stone on injured reserve. QUESTION: How might the addition of new players like Michael McCarron and Nick Foligno impact the Minnesota Wild’s performance for the rest of the season?
