Russia is helping Iran with intel to kill Americans, says top EU diplomat

Russia is reportedly aiding Iran with intelligence and drones in a Middle East conflict aimed at targeting Americans, according to the EU’s top diplomat, Kaja Kallas. Speaking at a G7 meeting, Kallas urged the U.S. to pressure Russia to halt its support for Iran, which is also attacking U.S. military bases. This cooperation between Russia and Iran, described as an “axis of aggression” by U.K. Secretary of Defense John Healey, includes intelligence sharing and training for Iranian forces. The situation is linked to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, highlighting the interconnected nature of these conflicts. The U.S. is aware of these developments, with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stating that any inappropriate actions are being addressed. This situation underscores the complex geopolitical dynamics and the potential risks to U.S. personnel in the region. QUESTION: How might the alliance between Russia and Iran impact global efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East?
