Dr. Cerina Fairfax, a beloved dentist and mother, was tragically killed by her estranged husband, former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, in what police believe was a murder-suicide in Annandale, Virginia. Dr. Fairfax, 49, was known for her thriving dental practice in Fairfax and was celebrated for her dedication to her patients and community. She was recognized for her professional achievements and volunteer work, and she was deeply cherished by her family and friends. Her loss is mourned by many, including Virginia Rep.
