Cardinals top Astros 7-5 in 10 innings to extend win streak to 5 games

The St. Louis Cardinals secured a 7-5 victory over the Houston Astros in 10 innings, marking their fifth consecutive win. Masyn Winn was instrumental, hitting a bases-clearing double and finishing the series with seven RBIs. Despite a late rally by the Astros, the Cardinals held on, with Riley O’Brien earning the win and Gordon Graceffo getting his first save. This victory completed the Cardinals’ first sweep of the Astros in Houston since 2004. The Astros, struggling with recent losses, will face the Cleveland Guardians next, while the Cardinals head to Miami to play the Marlins. QUESTION: How do you think a team’s winning or losing streak can impact the players’ morale and performance in future games?
