Tim Cook to step down as Apple CEO. In letter, describes 15 years of emails

Apple CEO Tim Cook is stepping down after nearly 15 years, during which he significantly increased the company’s market value. Cook, who took over from Steve Jobs, will hand over the CEO role to John Ternus, Apple’s head of hardware engineering, on September 1. Cook will remain with the company as executive chairman. Ternus has been with Apple for 25 years and has played a key role in developing the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This leadership change comes as Apple faces challenges in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence. Despite Cook’s success, Apple has struggled to advance its AI capabilities, recently seeking help from Google to improve Siri. Cook’s tenure saw Apple reach unprecedented success, building on the foundation laid by Jobs. QUESTION: How might the leadership change at Apple influence the company’s approach to innovation and technology in the future?
