Florida AG launches criminal investigation into ChatGPT over FSU shooting

Police are investigating a shooting at Florida State University where two people were killed and five injured. The alleged shooter reportedly used ChatGPT to plan the attack, prompting Florida’s attorney general to investigate OpenAI, the company behind the AI chatbot. Attorney General James Uthmeier stated that if a person had given the same advice as ChatGPT, they would face murder charges.
