Murakami homers for 4th straight game, helping the White Sox beat the Diamondbacks 11-5

Rookie Munetaka Murakami hit a home run for the fourth consecutive game, and Sean Burke secured his first win in 17 appearances as the Chicago White Sox defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 11-5. The White Sox took an early lead with four runs in the first inning and three consecutive home runs in the second, including Murakami’s. Colson Montgomery and Sam Antonacci each contributed three RBIs, with Antonacci hitting his first MLB home run. Burke allowed two earned runs over six innings, while Arizona’s Merrill Kelly gave up eight runs. Ildemaro Vargas extended his hitting streak to 19 games with a three-run homer for Arizona. The White Sox continue their road trip with Anthony Kay facing Arizona’s Eduardo Rodriguez next. QUESTION: How might the success of rookies like Munetaka Murakami and Sam Antonacci influence the future of the Chicago White Sox?
