Searchers find body of 1 of 6 missing crew members from ship that overturned during typhoon

Authorities have recovered the body of one of the six missing crew members from a cargo ship that overturned near the Northern Mariana Islands during a typhoon. U.S. Air Force divers used an underwater drone to search the vessel, while additional divers from the Japan Coast Guard found no other crew members. The U.S. Coast Guard continues to search for the five missing crewmen and a life raft, covering over 99,000 square miles with help from Guam, Japan, and New Zealand. The ship, named the Mariana, lost its engine during Super Typhoon Sinlaku and contact was lost the next day. Despite initial search challenges due to heavy winds, the overturned ship was found northeast of Pagan Island. Debris, including a life raft, was spotted miles away. The typhoon caused significant damage in the region. QUESTION: How might the increasing frequency of severe weather events impact maritime safety and rescue operations in the future?
