Younghoe Koo’s whiff kick for the Giants may have saved a life on the way to the Kentucky Derby

Mark Toothaker, a stallion sales manager from Lexington, Kentucky, experienced an unexpected life-saving moment while watching a football game. During a New York Giants game, he laughed so hard at a missed field goal that it triggered a seizure. His wife, Malory, a nurse, called 911, leading to the discovery of a tennis-ball-sized benign brain tumor. The tumor was successfully removed, and Toothaker suffered no lasting damage. He credits the missed kick for saving his life, as the seizure could have occurred while he was driving or flying for work. Toothaker, who has no memory of the seizure, is grateful for the timing and outcome. He hopes to invite the kicker, Younghoe Koo, to the Kentucky Derby as a gesture of thanks. QUESTION: How might unexpected events in our lives lead to positive outcomes, even when they initially seem negative?
