Wrexham’s Premier League dream on hold after missing out on playoffs. Ipswich secures promotion

Wrexham’s hopes of reaching the Premier League this season have ended after a 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough in their final Championship match. This result allowed Hull to overtake Wrexham for the last playoff spot, thanks to a 2-1 victory over Norwich. Hull’s winning goal, scored by Oli McBurnie, was controversial as it appeared offside, but no video reviews are available in the league. Wrexham, owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, had achieved three consecutive promotions, a journey featured in the Emmy-winning series “Welcome to Wrexham.” Meanwhile, Ipswich secured a Premier League return by defeating Queens Park Rangers 3-0. The playoffs will feature Hull, Millwall, Southampton, and Middlesbrough. QUESTION: How do you think the absence of video reviews in the English Football League impacts the fairness of the games?
