Manhunt on for retired special forces soldier accused of shooting wife

An intense manhunt is underway for Craig Berry, a retired special forces soldier accused of shooting his wife, as it enters its fifth day in northern Tennessee. Berry, charged with attempted murder, fled into the woods and is described by the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office as having extensive survival skills. He is believed to be armed, carrying extra ammunition, and was last seen wearing camouflage clothing on a trail camera. Authorities, including the U.S. Marshals Service and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, are conducting a detailed search near Kentucky Lake. Berry has been on the run since May 1, following a domestic dispute that left his wife hospitalized. The search is complicated by Berry’s familiarity with the area and his potential to receive outside help. Stewart County is located near the Kentucky border, about 75 miles northeast of Nashville. QUESTION: How might the skills and training of a retired special forces soldier impact the efforts of law enforcement in capturing him?
