Azan’s debut century lifts Pakistan to 251-5 at lunch on Day 3 against Bangladesh in 1st test

In the first cricket test between Pakistan and Bangladesh, Pakistan’s Azan Awais made an impressive debut by scoring a century, hitting 103 runs with 14 boundaries. However, Bangladesh regained control by reducing Pakistan to 251-5 by lunch on Day 3. Azan’s innings ended when Taskin Ahmed, who achieved his 50th test wicket, dismissed him. Taskin also took the wicket of Pakistan’s captain Shan Masood, sparking a collapse where Pakistan lost three wickets for just four runs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz contributed by taking three wickets, including that of debutant Abdullah Fazal, who scored 60. Earlier, Bangladesh’s Najmul Hossain Shanto scored a century, helping his team reach 413 in their first innings. QUESTION: How might achieving a milestone, like a century on debut, impact a player’s confidence and future performance in sports?
