Shooting near Harvard leaves 2 with life-threatening injuries, suspect ID’d

A shooting incident occurred in Cambridge, Massachusetts, near Memorial Drive and River Street on Monday afternoon, leaving at least one person wounded. The gunman began firing into traffic around 1:30 p.m., prompting emergency responders to treat the injured individual. Aerial footage captured by WCVB, an ABC News affiliate, showed police apprehending a suspect and a black Dodge sedan crashed off the road, with a rifle found nearby. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey assured the public that there is no ongoing threat but advised residents to avoid the area to allow authorities to work.
