Giants beat Dodgers 6-2 as Bader and Haase hit back-to-back homers off Yamamoto

Harrison Bader and Eric Haase hit consecutive home runs in the fifth inning, leading the San Francisco Giants to a 6-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Haase’s homer in the third inning was his first since May 2025, and he nearly hit another in the seventh. Bader’s home run tied the game, and Haase’s second homer gave the Giants the lead. Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto allowed three home runs for the first time in his career. Shohei Ohtani hit a home run for the Dodgers, who have now lost four straight games. Giants pitcher Adrian Houser earned his first win against the Dodgers, while Caleb Kilian secured the save. The Dodgers have struggled recently, scoring three or fewer runs in 10 of their last 13 games. The Giants have won four of their last five games. QUESTION: How might the recent struggles of the Dodgers impact their chances in the playoffs?
