Russia hits Kyiv with drones and ballistic missiles, killing 1 and injuring 31

Russia launched a massive drone and missile attack on Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, early Thursday morning, resulting in at least one death and 31 injuries. The assault targeted civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, with Kyiv suffering the most damage. Six districts in the capital were affected, and a multistory building in the Darnytsia district partially collapsed, trapping people under the rubble. Emergency services rescued 27 individuals, while 18 apartments were destroyed. Other cities, including Kremenchuk, Bila Tserkva, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Odesa, were also hit. The attack followed a rare daytime assault on Kyiv that killed six people and involved 800 drones. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated the attacks aimed to inflict maximum pain and grief. QUESTION: How might ongoing attacks like these impact the daily lives and future of young people living in Ukraine?
