Parents often feel lost when their children leave home to start their own lives, but this transition can also be an opportunity for new beginnings. Being a mother is a demanding role that typically lasts for at least 18 years, requiring constant attention without breaks. Once children grow up and become independent, as they are raised to be, parents may experience feelings of loneliness and a lack of purpose. This shift can be compared to losing a job after 18 years of dedicated work. However, this period can also be a chance for parents to explore new interests and redefine their identities beyond parenthood.
