Jacob Misiorowski sets record for heat and Brice Turang homers twice as Brewers beat Rockies 7-1

Jacob Misiorowski made headlines by throwing a record-setting 103.7 mph pitch as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Colorado Rockies 7-1. Misiorowski, who has been impressive all season, allowed only an unearned run and struck out eight over seven innings, lowering his ERA to 1.50. Despite a scare when a grounder hit his calf, he continued to dominate, even after hitting a batter with a 98 mph cutter. Brice Turang led the Brewers’ offense with two solo home runs, while David Hamilton, William Contreras, and Jake Bauers also contributed with homers. The Brewers’ victory was supported by strong pitching and a powerful offense, showcasing their potential in the league. QUESTION: How might the ability to throw extremely fast pitches impact a pitcher’s career and the team’s success?
