The summit, which includes leaders from France, the United States, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom, focused on Russia’s war in Ukraine and the tentative agreement with Iran. The leaders also planned to discuss the global economic crisis and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for oil transport. Egypt, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates joined the talks to address Middle Eastern stability.
