Possible human remains found in home burned in Washington wildfire

In Spokane, Washington, a wildfire known as the Upriver Fire has burned 250 acres, destroyed about a dozen homes, and forced thousands to evacuate. Authorities discovered possible human remains in a home where a resident had refused to leave despite evacuation orders. The fire, driven by strong winds, poses significant challenges for firefighters due to the dense population and abundant fuel in the area. Spokane Fire District 9 Fire Chief Brian Mather emphasized the danger of wind-driven fires and urged residents to stay away to aid firefighting efforts. Washington Governor Bob Ferguson is closely monitoring the situation and has requested federal assistance. The fire is expected to continue for several days, with numerous aircraft deployed to combat it. QUESTION: How might the increasing frequency of wildfires impact communities and their preparedness in the future?
