Dubon’s 2 hits and 2 runs against former team leads Braves over Giants 3-1

The Atlanta Braves ended a four-game losing streak by defeating the San Francisco Giants 3-1. Mauricio Dubón, facing his former team, contributed two hits and scored twice, while Ozzie Albies drove in two runs. Matt Olson and Dominic Smith, also playing against his former team, added to the Braves’ offense. Rafael Devers hit an RBI double for the Giants, who have now lost five of their last seven games. Braves pitcher Dylan Lee improved to 4-0, and Raisel Iglesias secured his 16th save of the season. The Giants struggled with runners in scoring position, failing to capitalize on several opportunities. Braves starter Reynaldo López returned to the rotation, allowing one run in three innings. The teams will face off again with Giants’ ace Logan Webb and Braves’ Bryce Elder set to pitch. QUESTION: How might a team’s performance against a former player impact the morale and dynamics within the team?
