Korda looks forward to rest before taking on next two majors after frustrating finish at Women’s PGA

Nelly Korda, a leading golfer, was close to winning her third consecutive major at the Women’s PGA Championship in Chaska, Minnesota. Despite her strong start, she struggled with putting and challenging course conditions, finishing tied for eighth. Haeran Ryu won the tournament, marking the sixth South Korean victory in the event’s last 12 editions. Korda, who recently won the U.S. Women’s Open, was not focused on making history but was disappointed with her performance. She needs two more points to enter the LPGA Hall of Fame, achievable with another major win or two regular tour victories. With two more majors coming up, Korda has a chance to achieve a career grand slam. She plans to rest before competing in Europe. QUESTION: How might Nelly Korda’s recent performances influence young athletes’ views on handling pressure and expectations in sports?
