Family-owned company prepares to put on the largest fireworks display in history

On July 4th, Washington, D.C. will host a historic fireworks display to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Pyrotecnico, a company with a rich history in large-scale events, plans to launch 850,000 fireworks over 40 minutes, marking the largest show of its kind. The display, meticulously planned since January, will be executed from eight barges on the Potomac River, using GPS technology for precise timing. The event, part of the “Salute to America 250 Celebration & Fireworks,” will feature remarks from President Trump and is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of spectators. CBS will broadcast “The Great American Block Party 250,” a special program featuring live performances and celebrations nationwide, starting at 8 p.m. ET. This monumental event underscores the significance of Independence Day and the nation’s milestone anniversary.
