Artists turned this vacant L.A. hospital into an immersive art therapy session

At the Hospital of Emotions, international artists transformed 80 rooms in an abandoned Los Angeles hospital into immersive spaces representing various emotions. Visitors are greeted by medical staff in white lab coats and guided through a reception area adorned with animated caricatures of emotions. Upon arrival, guests sign in as patients and receive orange hospital wristbands inscribed with the phrase, “Heal your heART. Who will you be when you leave?” This unique art installation invites participants to explore and reflect on their emotional experiences, offering a creative and thought-provoking journey through the spectrum of human feelings. QUESTION: How might experiencing art installations like the Hospital of Emotions influence the way people understand and express their own emotions?
