Multiple people shot as gunfire erupts near Seattle’s iconic Space Needle, police say

A shooting occurred Sunday night near the Space Needle in Seattle, injuring at least four people, including a child. The incident took place at an events complex hosting the Bite of Seattle food festival. Harborview Medical Center reported that among the injured were a toddler, a 23-year-old man, and two adult women, with one person in critical condition. Witnesses described a chaotic scene as people fled in panic after hearing gunshots. The festival, which began in 1982, attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Police are investigating the shooting and have advised the public to avoid the area. QUESTION: How might events like this impact the way people feel about attending large public gatherings in the future?
