Balogun omitted from Monaco’s Conference League squad and will also miss PSG game

U.S. striker Folarin Balogun has been excluded from Monaco’s squad for the Conference League and will miss their match against Paris Saint-Germain due to uncertainty over his future. This follows the collapse of his proposed transfer to Everton, which fell through after the club raised concerns about his health during a medical examination. Balogun, who has not played in any of Monaco’s games this season, was close to a £40 million move to Everton but withdrew from the deal. Monaco is under financial pressure to sell Balogun or another top player to comply with league rules. The transfer window remains open in some leagues, such as Saudi Arabia, until October 12. Meanwhile, Japan’s Takumi Minamino, returning from an ACL injury, is included in Monaco’s squad for the PSG match. QUESTION: How might the uncertainty surrounding a player’s transfer impact their performance and mindset on the field?
