Seager, Langford and Jansen homer to lift Rangers over Mariners 10-5

Corey Seager, Wyatt Langford, and Danny Jansen each hit home runs as the Texas Rangers defeated the Seattle Mariners 10-5. Cal Quantrill pitched six strong innings, allowing three runs on five hits, and earned his fifth consecutive quality start. The Rangers, who are in the hunt for a playoff spot, remain 1 1/2 games behind Cleveland for the third AL wild-card berth and two games behind Houston in the AL West. Seager’s early home run set the tone, while Langford and Jansen’s blasts in the fifth inning helped secure the win. Lazaro Montes hit a record-breaking 474-foot home run for the Mariners. The series continues with Cody Bradford facing Kade Anderson in the next game. QUESTION: How might the performance of young players like Lazaro Montes influence the future of baseball?
