Wisconsin Congressman suffers minor injury after lake emergency landing

Wisconsin Congressman Tom Tiffany, who is running for governor, experienced a scare when the plane he was traveling in lost power and made an emergency landing on Lake Wausau. Returning from a political event, Tiffany and the pilot were forced to exit the aircraft as it began to submerge, swimming to safety in a shallow area until emergency responders arrived. Both sustained only minor injuries. Tiffany expressed gratitude to the pilot and first responders for their quick action.
