Co-pilot stabs captain, tries to crash FlyDubai flight en route to Israel

A FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Israel was forced to make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia after the co-pilot attempted to seize control of the aircraft and crash it. The incident occurred as the plane approached Israel, with the co-pilot reportedly stabbing the pilot and trying to jam the cockpit equipment. Passengers and crew members, including Israeli passengers who intervened, managed to overpower the co-pilot, preventing a potential disaster. The plane landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, with no passengers injured, although the pilot sustained stab wounds. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the passengers’ bravery and noted that the co-pilot had undergone Islamist radical indoctrination. The co-pilot, an Omani citizen, was arrested and is being questioned by Saudi authorities. The incident is being investigated as a possible attempted terror attack. QUESTION: How might the actions of the passengers and crew during this incident inspire others to act in emergency situations?
