The engagement survey is dying. Here’s what’s replacing it

After a company survey is conducted, the results are typically shared through an email that breaks down the data in various ways, comparing current scores to the previous year and against other teams within the company. This leads to a burst of activity, including the creation of slide presentations, town hall meetings, and the formation of action-planning committees. However, despite the initial flurry of attention, the survey results are often forgotten within a month, and the process is not revisited until the next annual survey. This cycle highlights a common issue in corporate environments where feedback is collected but not effectively acted upon or integrated into long-term strategies.
