Professor to present findings questioning whether Epstein killed himself

A top pathologist, Michael Freeman, is set to challenge the official ruling that Jeffrey Epstein’s death was a suicide. Freeman, who reviewed Epstein’s autopsy records, plans to present his findings at University College London, suggesting that the investigation into Epstein’s death was insufficient. Mark Epstein, Jeffrey’s brother, supports Freeman’s analysis, which questions the lack of photographs and examination of the ligature used in Epstein’s death. Freeman’s research, which includes a biomechanical analysis of the ligature pattern, aims to weigh the evidence for both suicide and homicide. This review coincides with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which mandates the release of investigative records related to Epstein, who died in jail in 2019 while facing charges of sex trafficking minors. The act has intensified global interest in Epstein’s connections with influential figures. QUESTION: How might the findings of Freeman’s investigation impact public trust in official conclusions about high-profile cases?
