Reed proud his ‘clubs do the talking’ and says it’s the ‘only way’ back to the PGA Tour

Patrick Reed, a 36-year-old American golfer, is working hard to return to the PGA Tour after choosing not to renew his contract with LIV Golf. Instead of accepting a spot, Reed wants to earn his place back through his performance. This year, he has had significant success on the European tour, winning in Dubai and Qatar and finishing second in Bahrain. Reed is currently leading in the Race to Dubai, which could secure him a PGA Tour card for 2027. He believes that players should earn their spots based on merit and performance. Reed is competing in the Spanish Open, aiming to become the second American to win the Race to Dubai. Inspired by Gary Player’s advice, Reed values playing internationally to become a well-rounded golfer. QUESTION: How might Patrick Reed’s decision to earn his way back to the PGA Tour influence other golfers’ career choices?
