In a thrilling rematch of the 2025 Conference USA championship game, Jacksonville State narrowly defeated Kennesaw State 27-26. The game was decided in the final moments when Garrison Rippa kicked a go-ahead field goal, followed by Rob Billings IV’s crucial interception. Jacksonville State had been leading 24-23 when a fumble by Lucas Farrington allowed Kennesaw State to take the lead with a field goal by freshman Daniel Kinney.
