Shohei Ohtani’s bat has gone quiet, but the Dodgers keep winning for now

Shohei Ohtani, a star player for the Los Angeles Dodgers, is struggling in the postseason due to injuries and an unusual slump at the plate. Despite his past success, including a standout performance in last year’s National League Championship Series (NLCS), Ohtani has been less effective this year, hitting just .154 in the Division Series against the Atlanta Braves. His manager, Dave Roberts, has adjusted his position in the batting order to help him regain form. Ohtani’s struggles are partly due to biceps and knee injuries that have affected his play, and he admits he’s not fully healthy. Additionally, he’s been swinging at pitches outside the strike zone more than usual. As the Dodgers face the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS, Roberts remains confident in Ohtani’s ability to bounce back, even though he won’t be pitching this time due to his injuries. QUESTION: How might Ohtani’s performance and health challenges impact the Dodgers’ chances in the postseason?
