Hands-on with the Ocarina of Time remake, the most ornate Zelda game ever made

Nintendo is set to release a lavish remake of its 1998 classic, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, for the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5th. This release comes just before the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI, offering a family-friendly alternative to the latter’s modern-day crime epic. The remake retains the original’s cartoony aesthetic while adding intricate details, such as hand-stitched tunics and detailed fairy designs. A preview of the game showcased its vibrant environments, from the bustling Hyrule Castle Town to the atmospheric Forest Temple. This remake aims to keep the Zelda franchise in the spotlight, especially with a Zelda movie set to hit theaters next April, following the success of recent Mario films. QUESTION: How might the release of a classic game remake influence the gaming industry and its audience?
